Elizabeth Bradley – Cymbidium or Boat Orchid (cream background)

The Cymbidium tapestry kit depicts the oldest cultivated orchid in the world in an elegant pale yellow hue.  It is also called the boat orchid. This flower’s botanical name is derived from the Greek word, ‘cymbal’, a small fishing boat with a similar shape as the petal.
